We Are Back In Business!!

After two and a half years on the sidelines, we are officially back in business!

Yesterday the Japanese government made the long awaited announcement that from October 11th 2022, passport holders from 68 countries will have the visa waiver reinstated, meaning that travellers from these countries will no longer need to apply for a tourist visa in advance. This also means that the ERFS certificate will no longer be required.

At this stage travellers to Japan will need to be triple vaccinated and provide a vaccine certificate OR provide a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before departure.

In our previous blog we mentioned that we had decided to defer all fully escorted private tours until at least October 31st, 2022. But with this great news that Japan will reopen from October 11th, we are bringing that date forward to October 16th, 2022!

This means we are accepting bookings for fully escorted private tours starting on or after October 17th, 2022. It also means that our Shades of Autumn Tour 2022 in November, and all of our 2023 small group tours will go ahead as scheduled!

It's been a long wait, but you could be back in Japan enjoying all that is great about this amazing country as early as next month!
